THE ROSE

我が家の小さなベランダにもバラが咲いてくれています。
蕾の中には何か素敵な事が包まれているように思って眺めていたけれど、開いた花を見ていると何枚も何枚も重なる花びらが何か大切な事を守っているかのようです。

The Roseというこの曲、色々な人がガバーしていてときおり耳にしていた曲でしたけれど、BSで手嶌葵さんが歌っているのを聴いたら、こんなに素敵な歌詞だったのね、、、と心にしみいりました。（録画したので、何度も見ちゃってます、、、）
ネイティブじゃないんだけど、英詩が聴いているだけでなんだかすごく伝わりました。
手嶌さんの声というか、歌はすごいな〜と思う今日この頃、、、。
